I joined my first ‘Biketoberfest’ Event in Daytona! It’s a small ‘Bike Week’ with slightly higher temperatures.

October 2022:
Some days with stormy weather while Hurricane ‘Ian’ passed by. A lot of water flooded many streets and area’s. Heavy wind killed some tree’s and spread unsecured things ... After some days life’s continued like nothing happenend with beautiful sunrises again ...







April 2022:
Back in Daytona for Bike Week. After I missed BW 2021, I’m glad to be back and see the beautiful Bike’s and Biker’s again. This year with a lot of action (More pictures you find here ...). The Riverfront Esplanade Construction is going on well. And of course, not to forget the ‘All-Time-High’ in Daytona - the sunrise’s ... :-)









November 2021:
Finally I was able to visit my loved Daytona Beach for some days! These hard ‘Corona Times’ - hopefully they will be history soon! I enjoyed the beautiful sunrises - I missed them soooo much! And I saw the most beautiful bridge finally finished! When the ‘Riverfront Esplanade’ once will be opened to the public, Daytona will be a glamorous city: A wonderful future for this Florida Beauty! :-) Hopefully, I will be able to come back for Bike Week 2022! See you!






October 2020:
This year in autumn I was not able to visit my most loved city on this planet - Daytona Beach! The travel ban get’s me out! I’m so sad! As an alternative I visited a beautiful harbor city in northern Germany. Wilhelmshaven. This city remind’s me always a little to be as Daytona Beach. Wilhelmshaven has beautiful bridges and fresh air, too! So, whenever you are in Germany - check out this cute city ... :-)



March 2020:
Bike Week 2020 finished. This time there weren’t many people present as usual. One of the reasons was surely the Corona virus pandemic or because it was only the 79th meeting ... But anyway on the other hand, it was great fun to see all the beautiful bikes and nice people ... ! Here are more pictures ...

The Protogroup construction is growing fast - except the north tower. The work stopped here because of different problems ...



A new construction on North Beach Street. The new home of the Brown&Brown Insurance Company will change a little the appearance of this area ...

The new Protogroup’s Hotel & Condominium Complex on A1A/Oakridge Blvd. continious growing. A 29 story South Tower and a 31 Story North Tower will change the skyline from Daytona. When the building is finished in 2020, it will be the tallest in Daytona Beach ...

I survived hurricane Matthew! There was a little destruction in Daytona Beach, but not that worse - what else is going on? The basement for the new slingshot on A1A - the old one near the Hilton Hotel will be replaced by another Hotel ...

Bigger and better. The Daytona International Speedway is under construction. The frontstretch grandstand and the tower will be replaced. New seating capacity: 101,000 (Can be expanded if required to 125,00 seats). Target for completion: Jan. 2016.

Bike Week 2013 was amazing as always! See the new pics in gallery 5 and gallery 6 ...
Soon history: The old Thunderbird / Seaside Inn Motel on A1A 500 North (shown on picture) will be replaced by a modern hotel complex. Other Hotels will be renovated. The Beach area is prepairing for a bright future ...
